Soul Care is a compassionate, relational process of slowing down, listening deeply, and walking alongside someone as they explore their life with curiosity and care.

Together, we pay attention to what is—what you are feeling, how you are responding, the beliefs you carry about yourself, and the ways you’ve learned to navigate the world. We also gently explore what was—your story, your formative experiences, and the relationships that helped shape how you see yourself and others today.

Rather than rushing to fix or change, Soul Care creates space to notice, understand, and honor your story.

Rooted in Narrative Therapy

Soul Care is grounded in Narrative Therapy, an approach that recognizes we all live within stories—stories about who we are, what we’re worth, and how life works.

Over time, some of these stories can become limiting or painful, especially when they were shaped in environments of fear, control, or disconnection.

In Narrative Therapy, we begin to:

  • Gently separate you from the problems you’ve carried

  • Explore how your story has been shaped by your experiences

  • Identify beliefs that may no longer serve you

  • Re-author your story in a way that reflects truth, dignity, and hope

This is not about rewriting your past—it’s about seeing it more clearly and choosing how it continues to shape you.

Deep Water Emotional Health is based along Colorado’s Front Range. We offer 55-minute therapy sessions virtually, in person at our offices, and outdoors in nature. Sessions are available in Longmont, Denver, Boulder, and throughout Colorado.
